1. Introduction
These terms and conditions govern your use of our website and services provided by Car Key World Limited, trading as Car Key And Repair (“we”, “us”, “our”). By using our services you agree to these terms in full. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Services
We provide mobile automotive locksmith services including but not limited to car key cutting, key programming, car lockouts, key duplication and related services across London and Essex.
All services are subject to a free no-obligation quote prior to commencement of work. Prices vary depending on your vehicle make, model and year.
3. Booking and Quotes
3.1 All quotes provided are free and non-binding until accepted by you.
3.2 We reserve the right to amend a quote if the work required differs from the original description provided by you.
3.3 We will always inform you of any changes to the agreed price before proceeding with additional work.
4. Payment
4.1 Payment is due on completion of the service.
4.2 We accept payment by credit card, debit card and bank transfer.
4.3 No payment is taken in advance unless otherwise agreed in writing.
4.4 All prices are inclusive of VAT where applicable.
5. Cancellations
5.1 You may cancel a booked appointment by giving at least 24 hours notice prior to your scheduled appointment time.
5.2 If we have already travelled to your location and you cancel on arrival, a callout charge will apply.
5.3 Any deposit paid at the time of booking is non-refundable in the event of cancellation.
5.4 We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule appointments due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
6. Warranty
6.1 All keys supplied and programmed by us come with a warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.
6.2 The warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, accidents, wear and tear or unauthorised modifications.
6.3 To make a warranty claim please contact us within the warranty period with proof of purchase.
6.4 Dealer ordered keys and special order keys cut to VIN are non-returnable and non-refundable as specified by the manufacturer. This will be made clear to you at the time of ordering.
7. Liability
7.1 We take every precaution to carry out our services without causing damage to your vehicle. We use professional, industry approved tools and techniques.
7.2 In the unlikely event that damage occurs as a direct result of our negligence we will take responsibility for repair costs.
7.3 We shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential or economic loss arising from our services.
7.4 Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the service in question.
7.5 Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or any other liability that cannot be limited by law.
8. Proof of Ownership
8.1 For security purposes we require proof of vehicle ownership before carrying out any key cutting, programming or lockout service.
8.2 Acceptable proof includes your V5C vehicle registration document, insurance certificate or other official documentation linking you to the vehicle.
8.3 We reserve the right to refuse service if satisfactory proof of ownership cannot be provided.
9. Consumer Rights
9.1 As a consumer you have rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Our services must be carried out with reasonable care and skill, within a reasonable time and at a reasonable price where no price has been agreed in advance.
9.2 If our service does not meet these standards you may be entitled to a repeat performance or a price reduction.
9.3 These terms do not affect your statutory rights.
10. Data Protection
10.1 We process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR).
10.2 We collect only the data necessary to provide our services and will not sell your data to third parties.

11. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
