A seized steering lock can leave you stranded even with a perfectly working key — the wheel won't turn, the ignition won't engage, and the car won't start. We diagnose the fault and carry out the repair or full mechanism replacement on-site.
Steering locks and ignition barrels wear out from age and use like anything else mechanical — years of turning the same key in the same barrel eventually wears the pins, and the anti-theft steering lock mechanism can seize, especially on vehicles that sit unused for long periods. The frustrating part is that the symptoms often look electrical (dashboard lights flickering, nothing happening when you turn the key) even when the fault is purely mechanical, which is why generic breakdown cover or a mobile mechanic without locksmith-specific tools can struggle to diagnose it correctly.
